Summer Fun Rum Punch

It's summertime folks and time to celebrate!  For a recent get-together with friends I concocted this Summer Fun Rum Punch by combining some of the popular punch recipe ingredients I found online.  It turned out great!  The punch is refreshing and the rum gives it just the right kick for an adult cocktail.   If you want to make the punch alcohol free, just omit the rum and it'll still taste great.  It would be the perfect poolside drink!  You could  also serve it at a reception, shower or birthday party.

Here's what you'll need:
2 packets Crystal Light Fruit Punch Packets (makes 2 quarts each)
1 can frozen limeaid concentrate
6 cups orange juice
4 cups Ginger-ale
3 cups pineapple juice
3 cups pineapple rum (you could use any kind of rum)
1/2 grenadine
Optional:  Orange, lemons, limes, pineapple for garnish

Here's what to do:
Combine all the ingredients in a large drink container.  Stir well.  Add ice to your container or serve punch over ice.  I used a glass beverage dispenser, but you could use pitchers or a punch bowl to serve it in.  It makes quite a bit of punch, so you can cut the recipe in half if you're making it for a smaller crowd.

Don't forget to add your drink umbrella!
Remember to drink responsibly and don't drink and drive!  Have a great summer!
